Moving Your Mobile Home to a New Location - no Mortgages availableIf you move your home to a permanent foundation, you could qualify for some mortgages and programs, but they are limited.

However, FHA and VA don’t have programs for homes that didn’t go directly from the dealer to it’s original location. Conventional Financing has adopted the FHA Rules.

As you can see from the pictures is quite a trick to get this home in and out of its space. Then you have to move it on the highway, slowly I presume, and install it where it’s going.

This is the kind of thing that neighbors sit out on the front porch and watch what happens.
