You can move your mobile home from one location to another, but there are no mortgages available.

If you move your home to a permanent foundation, you could qualify for some mortgages and programs, but they are limited.

However, FHA and VA don’t have programs for homes that didn’t go directly from the dealer to it’s original location. Conventional Financing has adopted the FHA Rules.

Some Equity lenders don’t track a “second mobile home installation,” and will loan on the homes being installed more than once.

Installing this home in a mobile home park, eliminates the need for institutional loan financing. Often mobile home park homes are completely paid for. If not, we have financing available for that as well.

It takes a lot of skill, on the part of the movers, and courage, on your part,  to watch your home go down the road. But, the rewards are great.

This is a broker friends home. He had it in Newport Beach for a few years, then decided to move his second home to Palm Springs.

As you can see from the pictures is quite a trick to get this home in and out of its space. Then you have to move it on the highway, slowly I presume, and install it where it’s going.

This is the kind of thing that neighbors sit out on the front porch and watch what happens.

I posted this page, just for the fun of it. The home was owned by a friend of mine, and he moved it from the Beach, to the Desert. I considered it a really brave thing to do, and I believe, after it was done, he thought so too!
